Inspire

Inspire is a digital collage animation about how I find sources of inspiration from my daily life amidst a busy schedule. I wanted to show how different thoughts and ideas randomly coexist in my mind while balancing college, work and personal life.

Plan:

I started by jotting down my overall theme in my bullet journal. I brainstormed different compositions, layouts for my artwork. I thought about what elements I want to show from my life that inspires me. After making this list, I started to gather imagery from my phone’s gallery and my Lightroom edits. I wanted to experiment with double exposure imagery. I made rough sketches of how I wanted it to look. I started in photoshop, masking out specific figures, things from the images that I chose for this artwork. After this, I started a rough assembly of decide on the position of the images.

Research

​​​​​​​My idea for this artwork was inspired by Gawx Art's Super Artwork. 

Gawx Art is a filmmaker / Youtuber / Illustrator based in Mexico, known for his visually aesthetic and dynamic videos and artworks. I have been following him for lots of years. I wanted to create something like this with elements from my own life. I create a lot of videos myself. I like to take pictures of places, signs while I walk/bus to work or college.
